Premium Templates - Copyright and Usage Questions
Can I buy a template and put it on any number of web sites?
This depends on type of license that you have purchased. A regular license allows only one publication. If you need to use the template on other websites then you will have to purchase that template for each website project separately.
Can I use the graphics and layout of your site?
Absolutely not! Stealing our layout or images is strictly forbidden and is violated at our copyrights.
Can I use your free sample templates on my site?
Yes, you can. Feel free to view and download these templates free of charge for educational purposes only.
If I buy a template, do I have exclusive ownership of it?
As an exclusive owner of the template design we provide materials with the usage licenses. We do not transfer any ownership rights with the license. You pay only for the right to use the template on your website. However, after you build and publish your web project, you will have full rights for all the additional code and materials that are added to the original design. You are the exclusive owner of your webpage, but the original template design remains our property.
Will I hold the copyright to a finished website?
The initial design copyright remains with the original template designer. If royalty-free images are used within the template, the copyright for those images remains with the original photographer or illustrator. Any text and original images which you include on your pages belong exclusively to you and you hold the copyright on those items.
